About the Position

We are now looking for a special teacher or a teacher with special educational competence for Forsenskolan. You will work in a special education group for grades 4-6 and have close collaboration with both the resources working in the special education group and other teachers in the middle school. As a special teacher, you will be part of a development group within the school area focusing on special education. You will also collaborate with the municipality's other special teachers and special educators.

About the Workplace

Forsenskolan is centrally located in Tidaholm and has students aged 6–12 years as well as adapted primary school. The school is in close proximity to both a swimming pool and a sports hall. Approximately 440 students attend the school, and we have around 80 employees.

The school and after-school center have a playground that invites play and movement, and we actively work to create joy of movement through active breaks for all ages. Our pedagogical idea is based on meeting each student according to their unique conditions.

At Forsenskolan, we collaborate closely in work teams and contribute to each other's learning by sharing experiences, good examples, and pedagogical ideas. You will be part of a faculty where high expectations, collaboration, and collegial learning are at the center.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is:

• an educated special teacher, or
• an educated teacher with a qualification to teach in grades 4–6 and a strong interest in special education.

You need to have the ability to work both independently and in teams. You have an easy time building good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

As an educator, you are a clear leader in the classroom and create structure through clear communication regarding goals and results. You are resourceful, engaged, and actively contribute to the school's development work.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with immediate start or as agreed.
